Model 77 Leak Detector
The Model 77 is a complete system designed to test airflow leaks of a wide range of turbine engine components.
The CCDI Model 77 was custom developed for leak testing A-B plates of turbine fuel/exhaust heat exchanger units used on the M1 Abrams tank. It pressurizes the part that is under test and measures 0-50 sccm air flow leakage. The unit is comprised of 20 Mass Flow Sensors, calibration reference orifice, a pneumatically controlled ram for the pressure chamber, transport unit and guard door. The loading and unloading sequence is all computer controlled and can also store results on a network ready computer.
